Identity for Folklorama 2020 rolled across a variety of mediums, both print and digital.




The objective of this project was to create branding for Folklorama 2020, a multicultural festival hosted in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The goal for the branding is that it would convince everyone to educate themselves on, as well as connect with, other people and their cultures in their community.

I decided to go with a word mark design in order to keep the branding versatile. I wanted the letters to look like a group of individuals coming together to have a good time and make up the festival. 

For the colour palette I chose bright and cheerful colours and then warmed them up to appear more welcoming. The colours are comforting yet still fun and energetic.
